General information

  • Registration is required for all participants: presenters, attendees and accompanying visitors. There is a reduced fee for students.
  • The conference fee includes the conference pack, coffee breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat trip to Baiona and transport to social events. It does not include the conference dinner (see below) or accommodation arrangements.
  • Conference registration and payment is arranged by card or bank transfer via the UVigo Bubela platform.
  • Dates and registration fees:
    • Early-bird registration (1 March – 30 April): 310 EUR
    • Early-bird registration only for PhD students (1 March – 30 April): 225 EUR
    • Late registration (1-31 May): 385 EUR
    • Late registration only for PhD students (1-31 May): 285 EUR
    • Conference dinner and disco: 40 EUR (accompanying visitors are welcome to join the conference dinner)
  • Conference registration and conference-dinner registration are not possible after 31 May.

Payment certificates

The University of Vigo does not issue invoices of conference fees. Instead, the accounting department of the University (Universidade de Vigo, CIF/Tax no. Q8650002B) will issue official payment certificates to participants or institutions that have transferred the fees or have paid by credit card. If you need a certificate, please send an email to icame45@uvigo.es and provide details about your registration.

Registration process for all attendants/participants/accompanying visitors:

Step 1. Creating users in the registration platform Bubela
All attendants/participants (even accompanying visitors joining the conference dinner) need to register on the platform Bubela, the UVigo conference-registration platform.

To create a user name on Bubela:
1. Click on https://bubela.uvigo.es/bubela/publico/publico.php?funcion=alta_usuario&lang=en
2. Type your (First) Name and Surname
3. Select as Document type ‘Identity card or Passport’ and type your Document (i.e. Identity-card/Passport) number
4. Select Nationality
5. Select Gender
6. Type E-mail address
7. (Highly recommended) Type your Phone number (please add country code)
8. Suggest your Username (6-to-15 characters)
9. Type your Password for this platform

Now you are a user on Bubela.

Step 2. Registration
1. Sign in Bubela again: https://bubela.uvigo.es/bubela/publico/publico.php?lang=en
2. Visit the conference page on Bubela: https://bubela.uvigo.es/curso/icame45
3. Click on Register



4. Here you need to provide additional information about your institution, attendance, attendance to social events, etc.
5. Registration fees. Select one of these options:
  • Early-bird fee plus conference dinner: 350 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip, conference dinner and disco. Important: If you do not select this option now, you will not be able to join the dinner.]
  • Early-bird PhD-student fee plus conference dinner: 265 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip, conference dinner and disco. Important: If you do not select this option now, you will not be able to join the dinner.]
  • Only early-bird fee: 310 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip.]
  • Only early-bird PhD-student fee: 225 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip.]
  • Late registration fee plus conference dinner: 425 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip, conference dinner and disco. Important: If you do not select this option now, you will not be able to join the dinner.]
  • Late registration PhD-student fee plus conference dinner: 325 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip, conference dinner and disco. Important: If you do not select this option now, you will not be able to join the dinner.]
  • Only late registration fee: 385 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip.]
  • Only late registration PhD-student fee: 285 EUR [This includes coffee-breaks, lunches, welcome reception, boat/coach trip.]
  • Only conference dinner (for accompanying person, invited guest): 40 EUR [Important: If you do not select this option now, you will not be able to join the dinner.]

6. Click on OK. You will get the message “If you continue, a card transaction amounting to xxx€ will be generated”.
7. Independently of whether you will pay by credit card or by bank transfer, click on CONTINUE, so that the registration process can be completed.

9. Now:

  • Click on PAYMENT BY CARD if you want to pay by credit card, Bizum or GooglePay (preferred option for us), type Card owner’s name and select Pay. Then you will leave the Bubela platform and will connect to our bank’s (Abanca) payment gateway.
  • Click on CANCEL ENROLMENT if you do NOT want to pay by credit card, Bizum or GooglePay but by bank transfer (dispreferred option for us). Only if you cannot pay with your credit card, Bizum or GooglePay, you can transfer the fees to our bank.

    Cancellation policy

    If you wish to cancel your registration, please contact the conference organisers (icame45@uvigo.es). It will not be possible to accept cancelations after 31 May.
